Dear WallSTBum

I agree with your analysis of the two sides of Bingo. I always associated it more with the charitable bingo. I am not anti gambling as long as the government keeps out of it. But they never keep out of anything!!!! And now that side has become mighty uncomfortable.
I should have used more sense and not margined to buy Bingo, I thought that it would go back up to the 8 or 9 that a lot of us originally bought it at. (Sorry for ending my sentence with a preposition!!!!!)

From now on I only margin to buy intel compaq or dell, even though it means much much much less shares.

I wish Rodney would come back, I would like to know how he is and how he survived losing all that money.

Happy investing, maybe tomorrow will be more promising, hope that great news comes out REAL soon, I am getting mighty uncomfortable!!!

Best wishes
Freeus

Dax: Interesting comments. Bingo operations are rarely mentioned on this thread anymore. I fear you are right about VGM's becoming the focus of investors. Although the political noises coming out of SC do not greatly disturb me (I am convinced it is all about negotiating position), I can understand why a lot of investors get VERY nervous about the SC situation. Some probably read Gov. Beasley's statement of complete elimination of VGM's by 1999 and believed it (as if he had the power to do such a thing).

A few weeks ago there was some discussion here about new questions for BNGO's website Q&A. One of the questions that came up was whether or not American Bingo & Gaming had had fundamental change of focus away from bingo and into low-end gaming such as VGM's. I would still like a public response from American Bingo & Gaming on this issue. Perhaps whatever this rumored news is will provide a little more insight into where this company is headed.
