FDC....Well I'm not a traiter or anything..but now that this is moving towards reality..and away from maybe. I just might take a cautious approach and place some side bets on some competitors. I never have liked the all in one basket approach.

I don't ever recall the press releases comming in stating the Checkfree had an 'Exclusive' with the Financial Institutions. In fact Wells is one of FDC biggest 'buddies' so it looks to me like the Banks will take it any way it comes in...the cash that is...via FDC, CyberCash, Checkfree or any backender. But the Billers are the Key...as to who origionates the transaction cycle.

IE if CKFR is bill publisher for AEP for instance...they'll get their fee for billing..If I the customer then bring the bill into my Quicken program...and pay it there...Quicken then returns the next phase of transaction....could have just as well been CyberCash, or FDC..who ever I choose, or is available to choose from. In my mind they are getting the return fee sending payment back to AEP.

That's the way I see it....if I'm wrong please correct me. If I'm right I'm going to invest in more then one bill publisher...and payment processer to get more into the loop...if you know what I mean.
