By my calculations, we had some massive job losses the media ignored or spent very little time talking about.

Sam's Club closed down 62 stores. If we assume each store had around 150 employees that's 9300 jobs wiped out. Then Wal Mart laid off 7000 followed by another 1000 for a total of 17,300 job losses. When the biggest retailer in the world (and the US) lays off that many people you'd think the headlines would be flashing red but we have a white man in the White House so we're asked to look the other way and not employ math.
