Ed,

Normally I would agree with you regarding the odds on this company succeeding, but you have forgotten about the intangibles. Such as consider what would happen if the San Andreas fault cracked completely. Brocade would become part of Nevada Bay and Ancor would have a virtual lock on FC Switching. I think you need to conduct more due diligence before calculating the odds here...

Speak for yourself Ed. I bought in at 4 1/16 and advised several friends to buy in as well at prices ranging from 3 3/4 - 4 1/2. I've been quite happy with the results so far, and feel quite good about the potential upside. Yeah, ANCR could go bankrupt, but it could also double and triple very realistically within the next 12-18 months as well. Obviously ANCR has not been a very good investment for you or for anyone else who bought this stock when it was much higher, but I think you need to temper calibrate your criticisms according the actual valuation of the stock. With the valuation now quite low relative to Brocade (I think someone mentioned Brocade's valuation was 2x of ANCRs), ANCR presents a pretty good value.

Regards, Bret
