You're lucky. Electrical impulses are somewhat erratic traveling thru your left atrium into your left ventricle. I would think that there would be, at least, some palpitations or skipped beats and an occasional tachycardia. It's great that you are asymptomatic!


I've had severely enlarged atria for many years. My heart frequently misbehaves! But, for me, it isn't a big deal as long as I am doing well and can do about 1,000 weight lifts per day, combined with knee bends, a stationary bike and power walking.
