The kid was taken by his mother and fled Cuba in a little boat.....the boat sank, the mother drowned and the kid was plucked out of the water by two fishermen, one of whom is the guy in the picture...an opportunist with no connection to the boy...... The kid was being held by cousins of some level and were a bunch of low life's trying to profit from the story.... The Attorney General (Reno) has jurisdiction in such cases and and after investigating the father and the cousins, she decided the child would have a better life with a real father and a real home....he is now in his mid-twenties and thriving in Cuba...
