Hi Les and robo,

Just a note of appreciation for Les sharing his work.

Ever since I came across this thread I've been heaavy into the semi equipment stocks.

Your data has correlated so well with my account drawdowns it is amazing.

For what it is worth your semi Macd phase change has gone down for 16 days straight!

Another way to look at that is your 10 day semi average is 11 and the 21 day average is a very close 13.

Your data set is complete, absorbing it is like drinking from a fire hydrant.

Needless to say "Thank You" for what you have built and allowing others to study it.

I'm sure you are very proud of building such a complete study of our great markets!

Bob

Trend score is a composite technical indicator in AIQ and Metastock charting systems for measuring trend. It ranges between -100 and +100 in AIQ and -10 and +10 in Metastock.

The buy-sell signal ratio is also called US for unconfirmed signals in that they are not yet accompanied by a rising MACD. It is a percentage of the stocks that currently have reversal signals, such as a stochastic, Wilder RSI, etc. It usually gets to the extreme area of 85 to 95 when it's oversold.

There used to be a web site that tracked the percentage of stocks with technical indicators oversold, overbought, and so on. I thought it was barchart.com, but the momentum page seems to have changed.

The Price Phase is another name for a MACD using a 10/40 exponential moving average pair. As a result, I changed the last column heading from Price Phase to 10/40 MACD. I use a 12/49 for the Dow.
