Boy you have a simple and incorrect understanding of things, or you have no fidelity to the truth? You think the democrats want legal abortion to control the population of poor people. I find it hard to believe you really believe that which means you are making that up to make the dems look like monsters. It is something I would expect from Republicans however. Dems want legal abortions because women want them and they are supporting them. Simple as that. When I read your posts I think to myself;' but for the grace of god there go I"! << No disrespect, but I simply do not have the time to answer every question posed to me. Right now, I am focused on illegal immigration. Part of that conversation has morphed into world overpopulation. And, I have expressed my opinion that life begins at conception. I have expressed my support for the Democratic party's use of abortion to manage the population of poor people. I would very much like to hear your opinion of when human/mammal life begins and hope to hear your views are supported by scientific processes. We are all about science around here right?

We are all about science around here right?>> That's an interesting question. Science isn't often about opinions but maybe this issue is. Under the heading tmi. I am an atheist so zero adopted religious beliefs. My 'opinion' is that I don't like abortions but with the caveat that besides being an atheist I am male. Throw in that I already have a couple of chips off the old block which, imo, muddies the waters. There are ancillary questions such as what about a rape that results in pregnancy? What about gays that have children through surrogates? What about advance knowledge of serious retardation and/or seriously challenged fetuses? What about embryonic stem cells? I see child bearing as an event that cannot be fully intellectually understood but must be experienced to be 'known'. Since I'll never experience child bearing I don't want to inflict my opinion on those who will. There are further cultural considerations that arise from societies answer to when does life begin. Since the widespread use of birth control western culture has become more sexually interactive. Some would say promiscuity is one result but that's just a word. Marriage numbers are down and divorce numbers are up. A corollary to that might be that women are no longer viewed as chattel which has to be seen as a good thing. I could go on under my alternate rap name I'glazzer but I won't. I prefer simple moral questions that have to do with integrity, compassion, and basic human rights which is why I think Trump should be impeached and then jailed.
