It's more like manslaughter. Those fetuses might be born and might become worthy people, but who really knows? We need more murder, to reduce the population. Just when we'd mechanized mass slaughter ( global war), which is also a form of murder, we invented the A-bomb, which rendered it unusable. Perhaps the first AI to become sentient will figure it out and solve the problem. It'll need us for a while, but not all of us. Animals we're driving to extinction won't threaten it.
