Assuming Roe v. Wade does get overturned, then the matter goes back to the states. Some will make it illegal, others won't.

And that puts us back to the reasons why Roe v. Wade became an issue. I suspect that those issues will galvanize voters who have been lackadaisical about voting, to start voting. Remember that California was pretty reliably a Republican state until the Republicans started demonizing Hispanics. That energized the Hispanics to start caring and voting for the candidates. In a very short period of time, the Republicans became an endangered species.

There are several states where the same thing could happen. Texas is one of them. If Texas goes blue, there is no way Republicans can win the White House any more. Add a few more and Republicans become a legislative minority.

And then lots of things can change.

So yeah. I have looked that far. I see a faction of this country that is seriously overplaying their hand.
