yes with the greening of the planet the increased brush and forest growth suppress cool winds and calmer air allows quicker ground warming as the dark barks heat and conduct that heat into the ground. Thinner vegetation mean more wind and more cooling of plants and less heat warming the ground.

And the number of days over 95, 90 85 etc are decreasing. But no measurable increases over the oceans
