Love, love, love Robert Reich! Here's hoping all his recommendations are adopted by Democrats! >> The answer lies in the interplay between deep-seated racism and stagnant and declining wages. Both must be addressed. Nothing says your wages are going up than allowing millions of poor people to immigrate into this country. Abolish ICE and Open those borders now! >> We also need ways to finance these things, such as a carbon tax, a tax on Wall Street trades, and a progressive tax on wealth. Please relentlessly advocate these tax increases (as well as repealing all Trump Tax cuts) during the 2020 election season. A progressive tax on wealth will be Marvelous! >> pushing ambitious ideas like government-guaranteed full employment, single-payer health care, industry-wide collective bargaining, and a universal basic income. All of the new immigrant residents will absolutely love these policies. Everyone of these policies need to be a plank in the platform.

Given the Democrat party's demand for open borders and unrestricted immigration, how will these policies work? Can everyone on the planet get a job? Will everyone on the planet get a basic income once they arrive on US soil and over stay their visa? It looks like the Democrats want to give all US residents government-guaranteed full employment, single-payer health care, and a universal basic income. I'm just a conservative, but supporting everyone on the planet seems expensive.
