I see pockets of that, but no momentum. Right now they seem to have priorities the Republicans do not provide. And immigration seems to be a big part of that.

The progressives and the socialists have the energy. The Democratic party is dominated by its activists or its big money. I just don't see the big money showing up in the next election cycle. With Trump causing liberals to lose their minds, the progressives and the socialists will dominate the primary and pull all the candidates further into the depths of liberal extremism.
