"Didn't they already choose? To spread their legs and have unprotect sex?"

Not always.

Academic research has consistently estimated that about 1 in 5 women will experience some form of sexual assault in their lifetime, but federal estimates on acts of rape annually range from 244,190 to 1,929,000 due to variations on definitions, methodology, and terminology that government offices use.

Protected sex is certainly not a perfect fix - some of us have high power sperm. Just the way it is.

How about you control your legs and let other women control theirs?

Ah yes. The "they should be punished for their sin" argument. Usually posed by men, oddly enough...

Because, you know, women are the only ones responsible for birth control.

That it a harsh and insensitive comment. But that is the hall mark of the right wing mind. Brutal and simplistic is their creed. No social safety net to help people in need, and no sensitivity to women in trouble.

Sometimes people make mistakes, or the victims of mistakes, etc. It was horrible when abortion was illegal.

The majority of women want abortion to be legal and we liberals back them up on that.

And Republicans seem more concerned about children before they are born and less so after they are born. like making sure they have food, shelter and security.

It was the Republicans that voted to take away health care for kids recently.

You say 'pro choice' gives women the right to choose...agreed?

Didn't they already choose? To spread their legs and have unprotect sex?

Actions have consequences...
