I never said Web TV will take down AOL, not by itself. LOTS of trends will take down AOL. I also wouldn't go out and buy THIS WebTV. But I think in the coming years we will see a whole new series of WebTV concepts that we haven't even thought of yet. AOL is valued like they have a patent on the URL. They have a patent on precisely nothing. I like the utilities' chances a lot better, with help from Yahoo! and MSFT and all the rest. AOL might be involved...if they lower their expectations and stop thinking they will be the onramp.
