Liberals always win, it just takes time. Look at the ACA, gay marriage, climate change and a whole host of other issues. The gop can't govern so they hate. Then when someone defends themselves from that hate (especially here on SI) that person is quickly silenced. I deal in basic facts. They deal in excuses. For example, the debt nearly tripled under Reagan, a man they call a fiscal conservative. If that's success, what's failure (lying about war, death panels, and Obama's birthplace?). A republican can't talk about politics without lying. This is why we always win. We have the facts on our side.
