Yes, a lot of truth in that.

When we entered the existential age, i.e. people were set free from primitive dogma, they were also untethered from at least a crude set of moral rules i.e.primitive norms and mores.

So part of the people, the ones that learned the new modern morality soared with the eagles, while part of the people sunk into the moral swamp, lost.

We call the latter group, Republicans-lol.
