PP:

FWIW Source of rumor that spooked the markets for a while today-->>The head of Nippon Credit
Trust Corp 8304.T here said its parent company, Nippon Credit
Bank, has only "minimal" exposure to the debt of ailing
Southeast Asian countries.
Takafumi Ishii, president of Nippon Credit Trust in New
York, told Reuters on Tuesday Nippon's lendings in Asia total
only some $200 million, "very minimal in comparison with assetsof $100 billion."<<< turned out to be smoke.

As an amature on the arms index, it looked like the positive volume today exceeded the advance/ decline ratio, signaling a ratio less than 1; am I close. .gregor

Paulo; Much thanks, you explained it real good,
The NYSE TRIN can be had at quote.com
if your browser will handle java.
It's delayed but the feed is live, and you can chart it in
several increments of min, hour or even days.
the apple will default to the DJI but just click on any
of the indexes after it "finishes" coming up, if you
rush it it may hang. The NYSE TICK is also very handy.
