It's been a simple progression since Ronnie Reagan reduced the income tax rates on the wealthiest Americans by 2/3 and gave everyone else a 4% reduction in income taxes. Republicans remain convinced that a flat income tax like they have in Mexico will fix the income inequality in America. And with each new tax cut for the wealthy we do indeed become more and more like Mexico. We can improve a lot of things but Republican voters continue to prove we can't fix ignorance as they continue to ask, "Please Sir may I have another?" Trump is perhaps the ultimate moron Republican who will destroy the economy after giving additional tax cuts to the wealthy and imposing misery on ordinary Americans. A some point the viciously ignorant will have to buy themselves a clue or end up making $12 for a 12 hour day as they do in Mexico. The newest stupidity the imbeciles of America are cheering on the the Republican Congress eliminating those god awful "entitlement programs" for the elderly Medicare and Social Security as Trump creates a global economic depression. I've been helping someone with their ancestry and from 1840 to 1890 millions of uneducated Germans moved to America in places like Scotts County Illinois. Looking at the Federal Census one person after another had no more than a 5th grade education and the entire community spoke virtually no English. Even the government workers recording vital statistics barely had any idea how to spell. Every time one of these Germans had another of their 16 children, their last name was spelled differently. Three generations later with 16 children each there were fewer Germans than arrived because their crushing poverty led most not to have children. Even today Scotts County Illinois remains German and Lutheran and one of the poorest places in America. You know they all voted for Trump. Today you'd never be able to find people this poor and ignorant in the incredibly prosperous nation of Germany with healthcare for everyone being taken for granted like air.

Agree 110%, I believe everything you say is right around the corner the tremors are occurring much more often. -nfg- The income inequality graph is the one that struck me the most. If accurate, the US is not that far behind Mexico and Brazil now. And we are walking a very thin line between order and chaos in our society. Spike the unemployment rate again via a recession and enough layoffs and it might just be enough to tip us into a state of open conflict between the rich and the poor and to drive crime high enough to overextend the police. And to drive the rich behind walls with private security and kidnappings and gang executions and human slavery and every government bureaucracy openly pay to play and all the fun stuff that goes with an unbalanced 2 class society.

so you're saying that the domestic terrorists will get angrier if they see that they don't have as much money as some people and will use violence to take it? and to appease them we should give them money, instead of shooting them with rubber bullets or putting them in jail? there's a solution, pay the police enough not to be corrupt or undermanned, build more jails, enforce the law. seems pretty simple. now when you have politicians like that piece of human garbage maxine encouraging this behavior, well that's not a 2 class problem, that's a human piece of garbage problem
