I really do not knon what effect this number will have on the market, but I would suspect a response similar to the one we saw in INTC and AMD. Late after hours trading has it pegged about where it closed w/in 1/2 a point.

It will be interesting to see how the Nikei responds to the rumored bank failure. I suspect that the Asian markets are going to be flat to slightly down tonight.

Did you really expect YHOO to miss the number considering the way the stock has been flying? Did anybody?

So what if they beat estimates, that should be priced in.

YHOO may trade higher this morning, but not because they beat estimates. If it trades higher it will be due to fund managers pumping up the price to trigger a short squeeze so they can unload.
