But lots of workers are investors, too. Through their IRAs, 401ks, pension plans, and company stock matching plans. I'm thinking of workers in the private markets when I say this, but it's true for public workers, too. Maybe more so. Public employees, upon hiring, are enrolled in pension plans that are based on stock performance and interest rates.

Also, in this Trump economy we now have an economy that is finally producing jobs faster than the machines are taking them away. I admit, though, that could be just short term. Are you of the belief that over the long-term more jobs will be lost to automation than the US can create?
