Include the Four11 in 3Q97, and make it 18.1, not 17.3 for comparison.

Okay, what does this all mean? Pro Forma, which means excluding charges for Four11 and Visa, comes in at 0.05, the high end of the projections. With the charges, which the analysts already knew about, per share is (0.03). Consensus growth rate is 80%; given their increase in opex, do they meet that expectation? Nobody on this thread was projecting anything less than $25 million. Is this a gangbuster quarter to support the recent run?

The way I read it, They lost .06 per share from operations, but made .03 per share from investment income, making a net loss per share of .03 cents. The .05 net income figure is a mystery to me.

Peter,

They changed the wording on the MCI press release. Maybe they read what we wrote...

biz.yahoo.com

CORRECTED - Yahoo!, MCI plan joint online service

In January 12 story headlined ''Yahoo!, MCI plan joint online service,'' read in 12th paragraph: ''...to use AOL's proprietary software'' instead of ''to use AOL's proprietary browser software'' deleting word ''browser.'' In 13th paragraph, delete words ''by
contrast.'' And following 12th paragraph, insert ''America Online currently offers Microsoft Internet Explorer as its browser software, while giving its subscribers the option of using Navigator.'' A corrected repetition follows. (rest is found through link)
