The way I see is that anything could happen between now and 1999--so hold on to your hat--but come 1999 we should be home free.

Yeah, it's eerily like INTC. But I should confess, I'm trading RMBS, not investing long-term, so I'm more concerned with a quick pop tomorrow.

I am kind of worrying about the flat rev projection in the earning press release. but I believe the analyst already factored those in their EPS projection for 1998.

About flat revenues.

According to what happened to the stock since the IPO, the CEO and CFO must be careful on future EPS, legally talking. IMO, it is positive point.

Microsoft regularly remind us that future earnings are not garanteed (or may be lower). Growing revenues and EPS is where you must be !!!
