Another parroted Trump lie. Obama was often criticized as the 'deporter-in-chief'! He concentrated on deporting criminal aliens. There are criminals in any large group of people. Why not worry about what deserves the worry?

>> Illegal immigrants, in danger of deportation, are even LESS likely to commit crimes.

You appear to be saying under a Democratic president, illegal immigrants are more likely to commit crime since there is no threat of deportation.

That would not be a logical inference. Immigrants are less likely to commit crimes because that would be the direct cause of their deportation. Even if deportation was less likely under a Democratic president, an illegal immigrant would not be inclined to commit a crime just to test the likelihood of deportation.

So, Trump is reducing crime by deporting illegal immigrants.

That doesn't follow logically. If an immigrant will just be deported whether they commit a crime or not, there is no additional penalty if they are caught committing a crime (other than serving time <g>). This is not an incentive to commit fewer crimes.

There you go.

Again.

Under Obama, the focus was deporting the ones who committed crimes and not those who were otherwise law abiding instead of focussing on the ones who are easier to find. Which is often the ones who are established and otherwise law abiding, ignoring those who commit crimes.

Brilliant move, Trump. Giving those that are criminals a free pass...
