No he didn't. He got 43% of the delegates and remember Hillary started out with a ton of super delegates. Something else the dems will probably outlaw next time as undemocratic. And he did not run to the end.

And if you do an etiology of the vote what really sealed it for Hillary was the minority block votes, especaily in the south where we can't win, and especially the African American vote which she dominated. Without the super delegates and African American block vote I think he would have won the nomination.

But in any event he had a substantial amount of Democratic support. And they should not be ignored as they will be the dominate power in the Democratic party going forward.

Like him or hate him, Bernie today has much more influence in the Democratic party than Hillary i.e. the party is adopting his ideas,not hers.
