Yes. That is because his campaign cut a deal with the Iranians to keep the hostages until after the election, promising them weapons if they cooperated.

Reagan was also responsible for hundreds of Marines being killed needlessly. He regained support from that historic disaster by changing the subject to Grenada. You see, republicans have never been smart. They're easily misled and led around by their empty ball sacks as they slither on their spineless bellies. 200 plus marines dead... Reagan loses control of the entire government - Iran/Contra.... Reagan amasses more debt than all previous presidents combined.... Only a complete moron votes for people in that party - the party of endless failuire. As for Trump. The gop admired debt under Reagan, Bush41, Bush 43 and now Trump. Do they believe in anything? Only if their "new" god tells them to believe it but only for as long as he tells them to believe it. Their empty ball sacks and spinless disposition create the perfect repubilcan - a party of morons and cowards.
