People, apparently, agreed to ignore Nixon's crazy commands late at night- I've no doubt they could do this with Scrotus as well. It's not like there haven't been republican nutcakes before. Ronnie had alzheimers- probably was drooling and wearing diapers by the end of his presidency- they kept the whole "he's lost his marbles" thing pretty well contained. And Nixon was nuts and on drugs. Now they've got a crazy demented guy who apparently likes to (or "has" to) give blow jobs to Russia- I'm sure the military can protect itself for now- and if the dems take back congress, hopefully the pustule that is the Trump whitehouse can be lanced- and some fresh air and sunshine can be applied to the wound- so we can all see what sort of festering shit has been going on in there.

Who knows whether "it" is just talk or not. If you track his statements about NATO over the last several days, he's all over the lot, including saying his talk strengthened NATO. So it's possible the US military was simply offering some help weighting the various bit of talking. It's clearly not a policy; just scattered this or that.

A majority of republicans have a negative opinion of NATO. Close to 80% of Dems have a positive opinion of NATO. We're not divided anymore. We're two different countries. They need to leave.

if most of the German army had been disloyal to Hitler a lot of lives would have been saved
