I think my dog Charlotte in some way understands my distress and has been more affectionate.. She probably thinks you smell better too! :--)

Since you mention dogs again … Being a (in house) smoker, I always felt somewhat guilty about second hand smoke. Strictly based on my personal experience, I really have to question this “second hand” issue. All of my dogs lived to and well beyond their typical life expectancy and none of them had any respiratory issues. Just makes one wonder … Second hand smoke … Just how much BS is being spread by special interest groups?
