Above all, this is a scientific research tool. I find it astonishing that they can freeze frame a beam of light and slow-mo its interaction with an object. I'd love to see one of these close to the sun to capture what is really going on there. The same goes for seeing around the corner thing. It won't be of use for everyday use. But it can potentially capture biological/biochem actions that are normally obscured. You don't have to limit yourself to seeing just one thing around the corner. You can have a holistic view of how everything is happening at the same time. Anyway, I was on a waiting list to buy his book on computational photography and it never came :( I guess he got to busy with his work to finish the book.
