whereas in the past, they provided huge entertainment value (some of them) and a wealth of information. not all of them. perhaps the pendulum will swing back. let us watch 'n brief.

When I first arrived on SI it was via Isopatch or someone on his board via the old Yahoo GOU (gulf canada resources) board.. I believe from there I cut my teeth on Iso's board.. Oh the days of gold up up and away from 250ish.. And on Tradermike's original Booms Busts and Recoveries thread. I really learned a lot.. Huge actually.. Now I agree.. SI in general is fading.. Seems to be no new guard to take over.. Too much social media and memes.. Lots less thought
