What is just plain amazing about this statement is, If they can reduce earnings this way then why cant you reduce earnings due to the asian crisis and devaluated currencies? If you go deeper how about comparing just how much was sold and what market share was gained or lost in those countries. I mean its only fair that you put all the potatos in the same basket and look at things the same way. Comparing apples to oranges is not exactly the right comparision unless the followers are total morons.
