Bill - Sorry I didn't come to your rescue with ACLY. I read yuor posts and then went to the Comensation Rules and got stuck in the accounting do-do. Then I realized you stepped on a smelly land mine.

Just because you & I are CPAs people think we know all rules and regulations. It looked bad to me and still does. These little stinky companies can and do all the legal accounting tricks until the bag of tricks is empty. It's that simple. I will start to follow ACLY.

Now onto Dumpy Dementia.

Even though the analysts lowered their estimates, people will start asking "Where's the Beef". Wait a minute what is the P/E ratio for this company and when people start looking at realistic ratios and noticiing that ARDES Y2K sales aren't there,I think the party's over. A $5 to 6 stock at best by 3/1.

I don't really have a good handle on the quarters EPS, but it depends on how quickly they Depeciate ARDES 2 or 3 years. Even if they make the .19 EPS, what should the P/E multiple be for a stock that missed its window of opportunity, $5 or 6 max until some big contracts or the government starts draffting Y2K specialists for the good of the country. So after this quarter, I might move on to greener pastures.

One more kid to get to bed. Gotta finish 6th grade advanced math :(

See ya.

CR and all,

Of the Y2K stocks, which would be your favorite going into earnings announcements? (Given one has limited funds and cannot short them all.-)

To start the discussion, ZITL and DDIM may report the most disappointment (loss), but they have already moved down some 50% over the past few months.

ACLY is getting a lot of attention; has not yet corrected, but may have one or two aces yet up its sleeve.

Thanks,
-Allan

I originally asked this on Roger's thread, but didn't get much response. They are very preoccupied with Internet stocks at the moment.
