Haven't a clue. TI typically won't surprise too much one way or
the other without an early warning. I GUESS they'll probably come
close, but after the INTC thing, who knows. INTC with upside earnings,
but wallstreet didn't like their conference call projections.
I'm now wondering if qtr1 might not be weak. There's a big change
in technology under way. Until these products place demand on the semis, things may be somewhat flat.
There's a lot of news lately about network tv, modem pc cards for
appliance controls and all those goodies TI is into. I'll probably
stay on the sideline until end of Feb. Maybe I'll regret it then,
but that's today's plan. It could change tomorrow! Seems like each
day I am dealt a new hand of cards. Poker, stocks, pretty much the
same. Just can't get enough wild cards.
