[C6X customers]

Would you know who the preferred customers are for the TI/AMTX C6X DMT solution?... until later.

Bill --

The first to come to mind are Amati and Siemens. COMS was given the standard non-ADSL C6X when it announced it was using Aware with TI's chip, but I don't know if they have Amati's now that TI owns them. I'm guessing Westell has it, but I would have to get that verified. Beyond these I'm clueless.

Do you know?

Later --

Pat

Who else would you add to the list?

I am still coming up to speed on Splitterless. Splitters are specifically used to integrate analog voice and data over the line, but it appears from Pat's post 8890, that splitterless modems are still able to throw reg. phone convos and fax and internet access at the same time with no problem. What is the difference then between the new splitterless and one's that use a splitter...is it just speeds?

Also, you mention that ASICs are not the way for updgradeble/changeable xDSl modem/modem racks...Does Ti's DSP DMT chips vary greatly from ADI's? I always assumed that ADI's was software upgradebable too?

Does anyone know if ASND plans on making ADSL modems/modem racks (I take it their CPE stuff does not include one now)?

I apologize if these have already been answered here. My mind, brain ibm these days.
