Its not only in the face of riots, and the rioting itself is connected to PC, some people aren't politically correct enough to be allowed a platform.

hopefully you're not talking about Germany and their holocaust rules, because that goes way beyond the level of what I would call "PC".

That would be one example, but you might also want to look in to things like the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the British arresting people for internet comments.
