Laws that treat the murder of a pregnant woman as a double murder arguably affirm fetal rights in a statutory manner.

I understand....you have a long, long way to go.

“I am woman watch me grow
See me standing toe to toe
As I spread my lovin' arms across the land
But I'm still an embryo
With a long, long way to go
Until I make my brother understand”

The fetus has no legal rights under the law.

The problem with that is that a fetus is more intelligent than you, able to learn more, and makes much more sense than you, so I would be very careful spouting off that opinion of yours. HTH, but I doubt it unless you are in contact with a pregnant woman or two.
