*All* copy protection schemes depend on embedding a code that the cannot be duplicated by the consumer. But at some price point, it will be worth it for the consumer (or his proxy) to invest the time and technology that allows him to duplicate the embedded code. This is one of the primary reasons for the move towards subscription and/or SaaS models.

In the good ol' days when everyone with a computer was hacking the Germans had some of the best hackers. Israelis were probably next in line. Russia and China weren't even on the chart.

I see Trump wants $500 billion in tariffs against China which would end nearly all trade with China. The market should have collapsed but maybe they've come to realize he's a headline whore and a leader.
