The Left’s Newest Star Is None Too Bright

Twinkle...twinkle....splat!

American Spectator, by David Catron

Original Article

Since her surprise primary victory over 10-term Congressman Joe Crowley in New York’s 14th District, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been promoted by the media as the prototype of a new generation of young progressives destined to replace the leadership of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately for her media boosters, however, she keeps blowing her lines. It’s not just her rote advocacy of single-payer healthcare and guaranteed government jobs, or even that she backs wacky ideas like abolishing ICE and occupying airports — Ocasio-Cortez is genuinely clueless. She outed herself, in several recent interviews, as functionally illiterate in economics, international relations, and history.

Turkey: Exposing Crimes of ISIS is Terrorism
by Uzay Bulut
July 20, 2018 at 5:00 am

gatestoneinstitute.org

  • In an Orwellian nightmare, Eren Erdem, a former MP, journalist and the author of 9 books, who has courageously dedicated his career to exposing and condemning terrorist organizations, is now being accused of "aiding terrorists". The real terrorists he has condemned, however, remain free.
  • Erdem is paying the price for telling the truth in Turkey. He has risked his life to stop ISIS and help save lives. Now is the time for human rights activists and the media to defend him.
  • "Where are the police forces? I identified 10.000 addresses [of ISIS members] in these documents of investigations conducted by prosecutors and judges.... Why are these men not in jail?" — Eren Erdem.
  • "If the commission we proposed were established, we would crush all of the ISIS cells across in Turkey in a few months. There would be no cell left. Because we know the addresses of these cells. We learn them from the police... We also learn from the investigations by police that ISIS members get organized in Istanbul through a magazine called 'The Islamic World'. But there has been no police operation against them. This is not neglect. This is cooperation [with ISIS]." — Eren Erdem.

How does Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan fight his political opponents, including those who have been working hard to expose the atrocities of the Islamic state terror group, ISIS? By throwing them into jail for allegedly "supporting terrorism."

This is interesting... Russia is a smaller problem than Canada and Mexico, the dems are disorganized the real knives are in GOP hands.

The biggest smear job highlighted in ryanette’s post is from an attorney for John McCain and Bush by the name of Trevor Potter.

"It's certainly foreseeable that he could intervene with the DOJ so as to not upset the financing of his companies," said Trevor Potter, a former Federal Election Commission chairman and general counsel of George H.W. Bush and John McCain.
