Steve-
In your opinion:Do you think mm's and specialists hold stocks back near options expiration so as not to pay up?GD

Steve
Today I was trading PAGE in the early afternoon. I was trying to sell the stock at the time at 10 1/16. The inside market at the time was 10 X 10 1/16. I have time and sales on my computer. The sale of my stock was never done at that price. While my order was out there only 1000 shares a block of 25,000 shares goes off at 10 1/8. How is this possible with the new trading rules in regard to getting best price. There was no way of me knowing which mm executed the trade but I thought that if someone is buying stock at 10 1/8 they would have to take my 10 1/16 first. Can you explain this. Let me just say no time up to this point did the inside market ever show 10 1/8 on either side.
