John P:
1) you were aware of the deficienciencies of your diet.

2) you were extremely discipline to make the broad-sweeping changing. to greatly reduce empty carbs and also to understand the correct manner in which you can used photo-nutrient rich vegetables, and some fruitsthat are rich in vitamins, elements, such as zinc, selenium, tumeric,,,cinnamon and other power nutrients/

all of this demonstrates to me superior analytic skills and abilities......,,, which could not occur without your ability to analysis , interpret and then implement modifications,

Thanks John! I really appreciate your kind words and the time and effort you spent posting your message. Nice of you!

I was a senior systems analyst at a major corporation and the training, education and experience has really helped me in my retirement and with my health.

But... tracking down my diet deficiencies and environmental issues were more an exercise in cause and effect and not any particular analytical skills! And it took many years to resolve my health and heart problems.

I've included the following average annual blood pressure chart to show the long, tedious effort to improve my awful health. For six long years, as you can see on the chart, from 1998 thru 2003 all my efforts were on changing my heart medications and their schedule, all a waste of time. In 2004 I started eating better, but it still wasn't enough. One nasty problem I had was with my blood pressure soaring at night along with nasty breathing and heart problems! I dreaded the night because my blood pressure would get up to 200+/120+. Finally.... Research showed that a blood pressure that goes up during the late evening (non-dipping) was evidence of Insulin Resistance.

I started a strict insulin resistant diet in January 2005 and, as you can see in the chart, things started to happen. My blood pressure and my health started getting better. But... it still wasn't enough. I started eliminating chemicals and smelling things from my environment, one by one, and over the years from 2005, my blood pressure continued to drop and is still at good levels all day long.

I have heart failure yet I can do 900 weight lifts with two ten pound weights and 600 deep knee bends, plus other exercises, despite severely enlarged atria!

Thanks, again, for your kind and friendly post!

Regards, Bob

Hi John,

Great post about the healing powers of certain foods. I just came across this mouth-watering recipe for pork tenderloin that is low carb, keto friendly and simple. I think extra garlic and herbs wouldn't be remiss either:)
