You're right, he has been saying that for a while, but he may only be early...

The weekly put/call ratio for the NYSE has been slowly deteriorating and as of this week is showing that this market is more vulnerable to a sell off since the week of March 26th...

Also, all the upward momentum for these major indices have turned downward except for the DOW which is showing that it's only barely holding on...

Also, the semi group is typically the leading indicator moving in both directions... it is now furthest from the highs than all the other groups and the momentum is now lower...

The RUT is the strongest since it has been benefitting from the trade war jitters but is also susceptible right now...

Sure, these markets can do whatever they want, they can all go straight up on Monday's opening, but if we simply take a look at all the technical windsocks available, it appears that more and more indicators are showing an increased susceptibility to a pull back...

We know these markets move in both directions, so we do have to be alert for a reversal every now and then... it only makes prudent sense...
