This is on my itinerary. Skipping the "migrant" countries this trip abroad.

Let me know how you liked it. My neighbor across the street is from Trieste right on the Italian border. We were going to take the train there from Venice and see it (about an hour) but we pooped out that trip too! The other side of Slovenia is Croatia and we loved it there too, so how can you go wrong in the middle?!
