I bought GOOGL around mid-2016. I had to sell it a year later due to personal cash requirements - not something I am proud of. It's interesting looking back that I paid almost 30X earnings. I remember the logic too - Burry paid 30X earnings for Oracle. If margins revert it is probably similarly valued today along with Facebook. The difference is obviously terminal values. I think about it, and then think about it some more.
