The kind of tariff Trump imposes will drive up the cost of US-assembled products.

Carefully assigned tariff would only be on the final products only so that only the consumers pay higher prices but not the US businesses. A large portion of Trump tariff is on raw materials and intermediate products and US businesses will suffer as well as consumers.

Trump tax cut is the tax cut for 1%
Trump tariff is the consumer tax on 99%
