They watch Fox because they are primed. And is there any better primer for believing shit that isn't true than religion? I can't think of one. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Holy books may not be good for much, but brainwashing- they got that.

but back to katelew; why does an obvious good person with a strong moral background go so far off the rails to lavish love on Trump. C'mon, folks. Why would she show up and provide any insight into her views when posters are treating her like some kind of alien lab rat to be dissected. How about according due dignity to "an obvious good person?" Inquiry into what produces a Trump vote is constructive. Personalizing it, not so much.
