hello mq, the chinese seem to be taking up where they dropped off so long ago in so far as africa is concerned

maybe they can do something and perhaps not, watch & brief

i understand the coconut made a very few but good friends over the summer, and one of whom can trace back to africa as can erita

in the mean time the coconut is well into her 9th grade humanities studies, and this semester covering modern chinese history starting with the taiping rebellion, through the may 4th movement, and onward to 1911 last emperor and capping off this day, and the teacher, a britisher having taught in asia for 40 years, apparently adores history, and had invoked a quote from napoleon during the PTA meeting.

at some juncture shall connect the dots for him on defence of wuhan by taiping rebels, journey to the west indies, exposing of allied betrayal / back-stab that led to may 4th movement, ... and and and ... and the fact that napoleon would not have been emperor had one of the coconut's antecedents not been. history is fun.

more fun that i discovered where i can get hot chocolate russian style, ala pure melted chocolate
