Mistakes will be made:

news.bbc.co.uk

Rioting in the Solomon Islands has highlighted sensitivities over Chinese business influences, both in the islands themselves and across the South Pacific.

Old story- but will be replicated elsewhere, I'm sure.

I checked out China's global polling and found a site you might like. It has an interactive map showing approval and disapproval over a period of years and with each country (color-coded). It's very easy to view.

Between 2016 and 2017 you'll see Russia, parts of Africa, and South America added to the favoring China map. The map is somewhat flawed in that it doesn't show China favoring China. This mistake only shows up in 2017. I suppose a lot of it has to do with the number of polls done each year.
