I've often wondered what the limit might be, the point at which it's a bridge too far. I'm pretty sure that the Republican Senate and former presidents and legitimate presidential candidates at least have some bright line, some brink. Don't have a clue, though, how far out there it is. I continue to be mildly surprised when potential points get passed. I don't think that the Trump core has one. I suspect they'd continue to ratchet down right up to the down and out as long as the rest of us were going down with them.
