Joe, in case you were not aware...

Many name brand computers being sold to the consumer market have TV in/out ports as part of the video card. That will be the most cost effective way for people to enjoy WaveFront in Windows'98. Any card from Intel would probably be a high cost non-event, and any seperate card at all (not already integrated into the video card) would probably add $50-$125 to the cost of a computer, so it probably won't happen that way. People like getting TV in/out ports on their computers for basic video capture and big screen output for games and such. WaveFront will get a free ride of benefit from this TV in/out consumer demand trend. You can be sure there will be some creatively marketed TV in/out card hardware bundle for those of use that don't have this capability, but I doubt it will be marketed as the currently unknown WaveFront, but rather be bundled with lot's of other cool stuff ...and WaveFront. It's possible that WaveFront/Intel/Microsoft may actually have to subsidize such a product with a rebate offer just to get consumers off their duffs to get this card poped in as an upgrade or at point of purchase.
