No that is not the context. Here is the context. Over the last 100 years when you point out what Democrats did wrong, you never bother to mention what the Republican position was during that time period as it pertains to the issue, which is the point when comparing Democrat and Republican behavior over the last 100 years!!

E.g:

FDR was politically forced into Japanese internment and i'll bet you the Republicans were the tip of the spear to do that!

Do you think the conservatives were opposing birth of a nation?

It was the liberals trying to end the Viet Nam war and the Conservatives who were the war mongers.

And Nixon and Bush's evil sins mitigate any good they did.

That is the context!

"Without context"

Here's the context...

""I know the history of politics going back 100 years and the Republicans have been on the wrong side of it without pause and the Democrats on the right side".

Was Ike on the wrong side when he started the interstate highway system, IGY, and the space race?
Was Nixon on the wrong side when he started the EPA and went to China?
Was Shrub on the wrong side with Medicare D?
Was LBJ on the right side in Nam?
Were Hillary and Kerry on the right side in Iraq?
